Cheque Dishonour
U/S 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act 1881 and the amendments thereafter says that when a cheque is dishonoured for insufficiency of funds or for any other prescribed reasons and one who is at defaulter is liable to be punished by the court of law. Memo of the clearing bank and the dishonoured of cheque are necessary to substantiate the case and further to serve notice upon the person who is in default and prosecution thereof.

Arbitration
The Indian Arbitration Act, 1996 the governing arbitration statute in India. It is based on the Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration adopted by the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) in 1985. Previous statutory provisions on arbitration were contained in three different enactments, namely, the Arbitration Act, 1940, the Arbitration (Protocol and Convention) Act, 1937 and the Foreign Awards (Recognition and Enforcement) Act, 1961. The Arbitration Act, 1996 has repealed the Arbitration Act, 1940 and also the Acts of 1937 and 1961.
Income Tax
Any person falling under the purview of the Income Tax Act, 1961 has to pay tax on the income earned in a particular financial year. The person (Referred as “Assessee ”) could be an individual, partnership, Hindu Undivided Family or any other business entity.
The categorization in taxpayers has been done to ease the compliances. Each category of taxpayer has to compute the taxable income in the manner as laid down in the Income Tax Act, 1961. Post computation, Income Tax Return is filed in the Form applicable to that category of taxpayer.
GST
A regular taxable person would be someone who is required to be registered under GST and not classifiable as a casual taxable person or non-resident taxable person. Hence, regular taxable persons would be someone with a fixed place of business located within India.
Unless a regular taxpayer is enrolled under the GST composition scheme, the taxpayer would be required to file monthly GST returns, maintain accounts as per GST Act, maintain a fixed place of business and comply with GST regulations.
